MICHELE FONDACCI PLAYS BETTY BOOP
The Michele Fondacci Plays Betty Boop Project was created to bring back the stories of this famous character. Betty Boop is a bit old-fashioned, but she is still important today.
The topics that were discussed at that time. Betty has had many different roles in her life. She has been a pilot, a soldier, a princess, a child, a presidential candidate, a sex symbol, and a dancer. Each soundtrack was inspired by the "beat" of the first few seconds of each scene in each short film, as well as its plot. After the music was written, the video was rebuilt to match the rhythm of the music. A mix of acoustic and electronic drums, vibraphones, analog synthesizers, pre-recorded tapes, and other objects that are not entirely identifiable will give life to 15 "audio-visual journeys." These journeys will take on a new form compared to the original, moving from funk to Afro music, touching on electronic soundscapes, and ending up in the world of sound design.
